Takiyah Thomas completed her second season as assistant women’s soccer coach at Penn State Brandywine in 2016.

A 2001 graduate of Lock Haven University, Thomas owns the school’s career goals-against average record and helped lead the Eagles to the NCAA Division II Tournament Sweet 16 in 2000 after earning first team all-region honors.

Thomas has previously served as the goalkeeper coach at Neumann University (2011) and West Chester University (2002-03). At West Chester, she coached a first team all-American goalkeeper, while helping the Golden Rams advance to the NCAA Tournament Elite 8.

In addition to her experience at the collegiate level, Thomas was the head coach of the junior varsity girls soccer team at Rustin High School for two seasons and has been involved with the West Chester United Soccer Club since 2011.

Thomas earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Lock Haven and added her teaching certification from West Chester in 2007.
