United East Names 41 Brandywine Student-Athletes To Fall All-Academic Team
MEDIA, Pa. -- A total of 41 Penn State Brandywine student-athletes were named to the United East Conference Fall All-Academic Teams on Thursday.
To be selected, a student-athlete competing in a fall conference-sponsored sport must achieve a grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the fall semester and must have been in good standing on his or her team.
Men's soccer led Brandywine's five fall teams with 12 honorees, while 11-of-13 volleyball student-athletes team claimed the award. Eight members of the women's soccer team earned the distinction, while 10 cross country student-athletes received the honor, six from the women's team and four on the men's side.
During the semester, Brandywine's five fall teams combined to record a cumulative grade-point average of 3.22.
