Tyheim Monroe begins his first season as an assistant coach on the Penn State Brandywine men's basketball coaching staff in 2025-26. 

Monroe starred for the Cabrini University men's basketball team from 2014-18, earning NABC and DIII News National Player of the Year honors following his senior season. A two-time all-American and three-time all-conference standout, Monroe scored more than 2,000 points and pulled down more than 1,000 rebounds during his collegiate career. After graduation, he played professionally in Brazil and Kosovo.

Monroe received his business degree with a double minor in sports management and history from Cabrini in 2018.
