Dennis Olenik Tabbed To Lead Brandywine Tennis Programs

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine Director of Athletics Bobbi Caprice announced that Dennis Olenik has been selected as the head coach of the Lions' men's and women's tennis teams on Friday.

Olenik brings more than 40 years of tennis coaching experience to Brandywine after working at various clubs throughout Delaware County. Since 2010, Olenik has served as a staff teaching professional at Springton Tennis Club. He has also worked at Idle Hour Tennis Club, Victoria Indoor Tennis Club and Wallingford Tennis Club since 2000.

In addition, Olenik spent the 2023-24 season as an assistant coach for the men's and women's tennis teams at Muhlenberg College. The teams combined to win 11 matches during his year in Allentown.

Olenik also has two years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division II level. He served as head coach of the West Chester University men's and women's tennis teams from 2003-05.
