Sierra Diawara Selected To All-United East Conference Third Team
MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Sierra Diawara (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) was named to the All-United East Conference Women's Basketball Third Team on Tuesday.
Diawara started all 25 games for the Lions during the 2024-25 season, averaging 10.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals per outing.
One of the top three-point threats in the United East, Diawara knocked down a team-high 57 three-pointers, tying for fourth in the United East in made threes and three-pointers per game (2.3). Diawara also connected on 83 percent (36-43) of her free throw attempts.
Diawara scored in double figures 16 times, netting a season-high 20 points when she knocked down six triples at Penn College on Jan. 11. She produced one double-double by posting 13 points and 10 rebounds at Lancaster Bible on Dec. 4, while playing all 40 minutes.
During her 106-game career, Diawara amassed 945 points, 430 rebounds and 110 steals. She completed her career ranked fourth in program history with 167 three-pointers.
