Brandywine Downed 2-0 In Home Finale

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team closed out the home portion of its schedule with a 2-0 defeat against Penn College on Tuesday afternoon.

Both of the Wildcats' goals came during the final 30 minutes following a scoreless opening half. Penn College got on the board at the 62:17 mark thanks to a Brandywine own goal and added an insurance marker with just under three minutes remaining in regulation.

The Lions put three shots on target, including a pair of top scoring chances, one in each half. Penn College goalkeeper Justin Crismale dove to stop Robbie Warren's (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) strike midway through the first period. Warren was on the receiving end of a free kick late in the second half, but his header was again turned away by Crismale.

Brandywine goalkeeper Braden Warwick (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) was tested 12 times, making 10 stops. He blocked all four shots he faced during the first half and added six more stops during the final 45 minutes.

Brandywine closes out the regular season Saturday at Notre Dame of Maryland beginning at 12:00 PM.
