Brandywine Falls On Senior Day

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine women's soccer team dropped its final home match of the season, falling 5-0 to Penn College on Senior Day Saturday.
 
Sara Darlington scored three times for the visitors, including the match's lone first-half marker at 22:36. Penn College tacked on an insurance goal at the 55:09 mark and added three more scores during the final 16 minutes.
 
Hope Priemon (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) recorded Brandywine's lone shot, a free kick that whistled high of the cage during the second half. Priemon, the team's lone senior, was celebrated prior to the final home match of her four-year career. Priemon ranks in the top five in program history in matches played, goals, assists and points.
 
Jasmin Alvarez (Tracy, Calif./Tracy) played all 90 minutes in net, stopping eight shots.
 
Brandywine (6-5-1, 2-4 UEC) plays its final two regular-season games on the road beginning with Tuesday's match at Lancaster Bible (7:00 PM).
