Rohlsen Selected United East Baseball Player Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine sophomore Dan Rohlsen (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) was named United East Conference Baseball Player of the Week, earning the league's final weekly award of the spring, on Monday.
 
Rohlsen batted .529 (9-17) with two extra-base hits, seven RBI and four runs scored in four games for the Lions last week.
 
He recorded his second three-hit game of the season with a 3-for-4 effort at Penn State Harrisburg on Tuesday. One day later, Rohlsen collected two hits, three RBI and three runs scored at Ursinus. He closed out the week with a pair of two-hit contests, totaling four RBI and one run scored in a doubleheader at St. Mary's of Maryland on Friday.
 
Rohlsen has appeared in 28 games for the Lions this spring and is batting .348, including a .469 mark since April 13. He is tied for fourth on the team with 19 RBI, while adding 11 runs scored and six stolen bases.
 
Brandywine hosts Wilson in a United East Conference Tournament first round game on Tuesday beginning at 2:00 PM.
