Brandywine Wraps Up Calendar Year At Division I Morgan State

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Penn State Brandywine men's basketball team played its final non-conference game of the season, wrapping up the 2025 portion of its schedule with a 92-55 defeat at Division I Morgan State on Tuesday night.

Brandywine faced an early 10-2 hole before battling back to tie the score at 15-15 following a layup from Isaiah Johnson (Levittown, Pa./Conwell-Egan Catholic) at the 12:17 mark.

The Bears retook the lead, pushing the margin to 24-15, but Corwin Holland II (Bowie, Md./Rock Creek Christian) netted seven points during a 10-3 Lions' run as Brandywine climbed within two at 27-25.

The remainder of the half belonged to the hosts, who outscored the Lions 22-7 during the final 5:34 of the period to lead 49-32 at intermission.

Morgan State controlled the final 20 minutes. The Bears buried six three-pointers en route to scoring 43-second half points, while holding Brandywine to 23 points.

The Bears connected on 16-of-28 triples overall, while shooting 53 percent from the field.

Holland was the lone Lion in double-figure scoring with 14 points. He added five rebounds, while Bryan Warren (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) produced eight points and team-bests six rebounds and three assists.

Brandywine (6-7, 1-0 United East) will play its final 12 games of the regular season beginning with Saturday's home game against Penn State Berks (1:00 PM).
