Little, White Key Brandywine Victory Over Keystone

MEDIA, Pa. -- Amari Little (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) and Ja'bri White (Townsend, Del./St. Mark's) combined for 52 points to lead the Penn State Brandywine men's basketball team to a 95-82 victory over Keystone on Wednesday night.
 
White shot 10-for-12 from the field and knocked down both of his three-point attempts, pouring in a career-high 25 points, while Little notched a season-best 27 points on 8-of-11 shooting. He canned five triples and made 6-of-7 shots from the free throw stripe.
 
Brandywine shot 52 percent from the field overall, while connecting on 13 three-point shots. The Lions tallied assists on 23-of-33 made baskets and held a commanding 40-27 edge on the boards.
 
Jaden Fogg (Morrisville, Pa./Morrisville) led the Lions on the glass with 12 boards and handed out seven assists, while scoring six points. Ahmaar Godhania (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) added 12 points on four triples.
 
Brandywine opened up a 10-point lead following a triple from Godhania at the 8:08 mark of the first half, but Keystone mounted a rally. The Giants used a 14-3 run spanning just 3:02 to vault in front, 37-36. 
 
White's free throw with 3:03 remaining in the period tied the count at 39-all. He followed with a dunk during the Lions' next possession and Godhania knocked down his third triple of the half to give the Lions a five-point edge.
 
Brandywine held the same five-point lead at intermission and began to pull away early in the second half. Leading 52-47, Little and Bryan Warren (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) canned consecutive three-pointers. After a Keystone free throw, Little tacked on five-straight points to hand the Lions a 63-48 edge. 
 
Brandywine put the game away thanks to a 12-3 run, needing just 59 seconds to open up its biggest lead of the night. Little contributed six points during the surge, while Godhania's triple with 6:09 to play provided the contest's largest margin at 88-66.
 
Brandywine (10-9, 5-2 UEC) plays two-straight road games beginning Saturday at Rosemont (1:00 PM).
