Swider Named To CSC Academic All-District Team

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine junior Jack Swider (Conshohocken, Pa./Phil-Mont Christian Academy) has been named to the College Sports Communicators Men's Basketball Academic All-District Team.
 
A student-athlete must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 and compete in 90 percent of the institution's games or start in at least 66 percent to be eligible for the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. Academic All-American basketball student-athletes will be announced in April.
 
Swider owns a 3.59 grade-point averaged as a business management major. He also earned United East Scholar-Athlete honors following his sophomore season in 2024-25.
 
Since transferring to Brandywine in January 2025, Swider has appeared in 38 games, averaging 7.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. This winter, Swider competed in 26-of-27 games. He shot nearly 78 percent from the free throw line and made 39 three-pointers, while pouring in 7.3 points per outing as the team's fifth-leading scorer.
 
Brandywine finished the season with a record of 17-10. After sharing the United East Conference regular-season title, the Lions reached the semifinal round of the conference tournament.
